Apologies if this topic has been covered in another more specific location. Following in line with Ethan Allen's post in reply to Don William's "Assessment strategies" post, I was wondering what many of the projects are using as measures of student learning in both math and science. Standardized tests are somewhat limited, but cost and time issues are certainly a concern when considering the development of alternate assessments.
