abstract:	To enable NSF to get a more complete picture of the effectiveness of the LSC program, LSC projects are being asked to conduct studies of their effect on student achievement and other outcomes. NSF has contracted with Westat to provide technical assistance to help projects design high quality studies appropriate for their particular contexts.
